In 1999, a six-year-old boy in kindergarten announced he would become a chimney sweep. That was me.
In 2019 I climbed onto my first roof, and in 2020 I received my certificate. Since then, chimney sweeping has not been just a job — it's a tradition and a responsibility. But the greatest joy is walking on rooftops: as a child I got told off for it, and now it's not only allowed but encouraged. I work in Limbaži and across Vidzeme, and in every job I aim for the same thing: a clean chimney, a warm home and a calm mind for the owner.
